Things you can juice

In this article, I will be discussing about the top 5 things to juicify. Juicing is a great way to give your body nutrients that are either missing in your diet or hard to find on their own. Juicing also has other benefits like weight loss, improved digestion and increased energy levels.

things you can juice

The first thing on my list of things you can juice is kale as it’s a great source of vitamins A, C and K along with magnesium and calcium. Kale is great for fighting cancer and inflammation among other things. Not only is it good for you, it tastes great in juice and is a very versatile ingredient.

Cabbage is the second thing that you should juicify, as it’s a great source of fiber and a wide variety of vitamins. Cabbage also helps to cleanse the liver. It also tastes great in juice and can be used as a base for other ingredients.

Beets are my third thing on my list of things to juice, as they help detox the body, and they also lower blood pressure. Beets are full of vitamins A and C, folic acid and fiber.

The fourth thing that you should juicify is cucumber as it’s a great source of vitamins K and B6, potassium, magnesium and fiber among other things. Cucumbers are also known to help reduce water retention.

The fifth and last thing on my list of things is a combination of broccoli, celery and cucumber. It’s a great all rounder that helps keep the skin healthy, detox the body and keeps you full up.

I have also included some recipes within this article for your convenience.

Do not cut down on the amount you juice, it’s a great way to increase your nutrient intake without adding extra calories through food. I recommend that you juice organic food items, as that will be better for you.

Now let’s get onto the lists of things you can juice

Some More Tips and Advice on Making Juices:

*For the recipes, I will be using organic ingredients as much as possible, but sometimes it’s not possible to buy organic so you may have to use some alternative ingredients. This is something to keep in mind when reading a recipe card.

*When you are making your juice, make sure it’s natural. Even though adding a couple more ingredients may sound good, if it means going out of your way to find something, then it really isn’t worth it. I will be discussing natural juices later in this article

*If you have a juicer that has a pulp separator, then you can juice quite a lot of things because there won’t be any waste. If you don’t have one it may be more of a challenge to find things to juice, but it’s not impossible.

**I have included the recipes for some juices, but if you feel that there are other juices that would be more suitable for you, please feel free to use them.

Juicing For Weight Loss [SUPER IMPORTANT!]:

If your goal is to lose weight, then juicing can help in several ways. First of all it will help you eat less food because most people only eat a small portion of their vegetables and fruit. The nutrients provided by juicing will also increase your metabolism and make your body burn fat.

If your goal is just to lose a few pounds, then you can make some juice for starters and add a couple more ingredients when you feel you are getting the hang of it.

This weight loss program should not be used for longer than five days as it can cause a lot of damage to your body. I would also recommend that you don't use this as a basis for any of your diet plans, because there needs to be other changes made first.

*For the recipes I will be using a juicer that has a pulp separator, so keep that in mind when reading the recipes.

The Top You Can Juice: Kale, cabbage, beet and cucumber.

Ingredients:

* 1/2 each of cucumber and beet (1 cup)

* 2 cups of kale (you can use less depending on how much you juiced)

* 2 cups of cabbage.

Directions:

1/2 each of cucumber and beet: Cut into small pieces then run through the juicer. This will separate the cucumber and beet juice from the pulp. Then, combine with the other ingredients through a strainer to remove all remaining pulp.

2 cups of kale: Throw kale through the juicer then combine with the other ingredients through a strainer to remove all remaining pulp.

2 cups of cabbage: Cut into small pieces then run through the juicer. This will separate the cabbage juice from the pulp. Then, combine with the other ingredients through a strainer to remove all remaining pulp. This recipe is best when done a few hours before serving as the juices tend to separate after sitting in the fridge.

Kiwi is my fifth thing on my list of things you can juice; as it’s full of vitamins K and C along with fiber, and potassium. Kiwis also contain an enzyme called actinidin which helps aid digestion.

Beets are my second thing on my list of things you can juice; as they help detox the body, and they also lower blood pressure. Beets are full of vitamins A and C, folic acid and fiber.

Cucumber is my fourth thing on my list of things you can juice; as it’s a great source of vitamins K and B6, potassium, magnesium and fiber among other things. Cucumbers are also known to help reduce water retention.

Broccoli, celery and cucumber is my fifth thing on my list of things you can juice; as it’s a great all rounder that helps keep the skin healthy, detox the body and keeps you full up.
