Researchers found that eating turmeric showed promise in improving the cognitive function of their patients. The group that took curcumin reported improvements in memory, attention, and language compared to the group taking the placebo.

Are you confused? I am, too. You see, I did not believe in Turmeric until I read that study. I had thought it was just another exotic herb with a handful of health benefits for those who want to use it rather than the others. But it is much more than that. It is truly an herb that should be in our medicine cabinets! I used to use turmeric only in curries, but now I'm adding it to my herbal tea as well as my smoothies and salads. I'm trying to get as much of it in my daily diet as I can.
I had always thought Turmeric was just a myth, but now I know for sure that it is both affordable AND beneficial! I would be happy to try a few more recipes with Turmeric, but for now I'll have to settle for just adding it to my daily meals.
