If you're looking for a juice machine for your business, this article will cover which way is the best: do it yourself or buy a juice machine. We'll also go over what factors to consider when choosing the best juicer.
You may be wondering if it's worth your time, energy and money to invest in an expensive commercial juice machine, or if you should just look for a secondhand juicer on Craigslist or eBay.
Because I got so many questions about commercial juicers, I decided to write this article in hopes of answering them.
If you're looking for a juice machine for your business:
If you're in a situation that doesn't allow you to purchase a commercial juice machine, then you can still achieve the same kind of juice with a secondhand juicer.
Besides, a lot of people choose not to invest in commercial juice machines for their business because it seems like such an unnecessary expense. On the other hand, I believe that having the ability to make fresh juices is extremely valuable when it comes to your health and wellness. So instead of buying a bunch of secondhand juicers and having to pay someone to fix them every two weeks, why not just buy a commercial juice machine from the beginning?
I say this because it becomes so much less expensive to purchase the commercial level machines when you calculate the cost over time.
Whether or not you want to actually go out there and buy a commercial juice machine is entirely up to you. The decision will ultimately depend on your personal finances, your business model and many other factors. I'll talk more in-depth about juice machines for business later on in the article.
Considerations when choosing the best juicer
The price of the juicer
Because you're trying to make money rather than spend it, you want to spend as little as possible on your juicer. It's just an investment rather than a necessity.
At the same time, you don't want to buy a juice machine that's so cheap that it will break down after only a few weeks or months. You want to be able to use your juicer for years to come.
The overall quality of the juicer
Juice machines are made with different materials. Some juicers are made with high-end stainless steel mid-range plastic and other things in between.
I don't think it matters what material the juicer is made out of, as long as it's sturdy and will last you for many years. Whether or not a juicer is made out of glass or stainless steel doesn't matter all that much either, because the juice won't actually touch those materials.
At the same time though, I'm not going to recommend buying any glass juicers because they're quite expensive and fragile. Although they're made with sturdy glass, they can break easily.
Glass is a great material to use, but you need to be careful and make sure your glass juicer won't break over time. Buying the best glass juicer is also quite expensive, especially if the price of a glass juicer goes into thousands of dollars.
The durability of the juicer
Durability is another thing you want to consider when choosing a commercial juice machine. Many people don't understand what durability means and why durability is important. It's relevant to you because it determines how long your machine will last and whether or not it'll work well for you over time.
Another thing to consider is the warranty. A warranty will give you peace of mind, because it minimizes the risk that your machine might break down on you over time. They may charge more for a warranty, but it's worth it as long as you know your machine will be covered in case something goes wrong.
Cleaning the equipment
If you've been using a juicer at home, then you'll know how difficult it is to clean. Imagine how much worse it would be if your juicer was used every day by hundreds of customers! That's why cleaning should one of your most important considerations when choosing the best commercial juice machine.
What you want to look for is a juicer that's dishwasher safe. This way, you won't have to worry about cleaning it by hand. You want to buy something that will take the least amount of time possible to clean. Saving time is important if you're running a business, because you don't have unlimited resources.
The cost of juicing supplies
Even if your juice machine is commercial, it's not going to work on its own. There are some things you're going to need in order for it to work, such as a juice extractor for grapes. I'm talking about a person squeezing and extracting the juice from each grape.
You also may be wondering whether or not you'll need a juicing machine, because they can be quite expensive. The truth is that it's not always necessary to buy a juice machine if you can get an extractor and make juice at home.
In general, I recommend buying a juice machine if you're going to make significant profit or if you have a lot of customers. For example, if your business makes enough money to justify purchasing a commercial level juicer, then I would strongly recommend doing so.
However, remember that making profit is not the same thing as making money. For example, if the best juicer for you is over $1,000 and your business only makes $100 per day, then it wouldn't make sense to purchase that juicer.
If you're making a lot of money then by all means buy the best juicer you can afford. But if your business doesn't bring in enough profit to justify buying a commercial juice machine, then don't worry about it. You can still get some pretty cheap secondhand machines on Craigslist or eBay. The amount of time you're willing to invest in the initial purchase, startup costs and how long you want to use the machine
Juice machines are quite expensive, even if they're commercial. You can get an extractor for around $50 but a commercial level juicer may be anywhere from $100-$1,000.
If you really intend on using the juice machine for many years and making a lot of profit then it's definitely worth it to purchase the best commercial level juicer you can afford. On the other hand, if you don't think that purchasing a commercial juice machine will work out, then there's no reason to buy. But even if your business won't make enough profit to get a good commercial level juicer, I still recommend investing in an extractor and making juice at home as well.
